One of the classic romantic comedies of the 2000s, Princess’ diary was starring Anne Hathaway and had only two films, but the actress revealed how she wants to work on a third chapter, to close a trilogy.
The production is based on the series of books written by Meg Cabot, which bears the same name. The plot follows the first film Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldia shy teenager who discovers that she is the sole heiress of a kingdom.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the artist confirmed the continued interest in returning to the franchise. “I would more than entertain you, I’m rooting for it. If there’s any way to involve Julie AndrewsI think we’re going to make it work,” he said. “We’d go to where she was and put a green screen behind her and just make it happen.”
It is worth remembering how Julie Andrewsinterpreter of the queen Clarisse Renaldirevealed how he does not intend to participate in the franchise after the death of Garry Marshalldirector of the first film and the sequel OPrincess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004). “I think it would be too late to do that now,” commented the actress. “There was talk of a sequel many, many years ago. But I don’t think it ever happened. And then Garry left us. Especially for me, it’s too far away now to go back to that. It’s a lovely thought, but I think it probably wouldn’t be possible.” .”

andrews refers to Garry Marshalldirector of the two films in the franchise who passed away in 2016. The filmmaker is also known for his work on feature films such as A beautiful woman (1990) and Love Comes and Goes (2001).
This is not the first time that there has been talk of a third film by Princess’ diary🇧🇷 In 2019, Anne Hathaway revealed to Watch What Happens Live that there is a script for a sequel, but it hasn’t gotten off the ground – and with the death of Marshallthe chances of us finding out more about the reign of Mia and Nicholas (played by Chris Pine) are minimal.
