Xiaomi launches tablet with 10-inch e-ink display, Android 11 and more

Xiaomi has launched its newest tablet with e-ink display in the Chinese market. Known as Xiaomi Note E-ink Tablet, the device draws attention to being one of the most powerful in the category.

Xiaomi sells the Note E-ink tablet accompanied by a pen so that the user can draw in specific apps.

As for the processor, the new tablet uses a quad-core chip (unconfirmed name), and it works with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

A second important highlight of the new Xiaomi Note E-Ink Tablet is its 3,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via the USB-C port. This is because the autonomy of the device will be a strong point.

The tablet also has dual-band Wi-Fi and a pre-installed WPS Office package.

Finally, there’s Android 11 running underneath the interface adapted to the new panel format.

According to Xiaomi, the new tablet goes on pre-order today (5) and it should reach retail within the next few weeks. The official price is 2,699 yuan, something around BRL 2,026 in direct conversion and without considering Brazilian taxes.

So far, there is no sales forecast for the device in other markets.
