Comedian Fábio Rabin reported repression by authorities in Qatar during the match between Brazil and South Koreathrough the round of 16 of the world Cup🇧🇷 In a video published on the internet, Rabin said he feared losing his own life with the rebuke in the country. According to the comedian, the authorities did not identify the reasons for the arrest.
“I’m glad I’m not dead. I was locked in a room with these guys, I turned on a live there and I think it saved me. There’s another guy who’s still there. I almost died because I tried to help the guy. I said: ‘This guy is with me too’. They didn’t say the reason for arresting us there. They said: ‘he’s sober’, and nothing else. They put me in a room and told me to smile. I was very afraid of lose my life,” said the comedian.
Fábio Rabin was “rescued” by other fans after the big mess, who tried to calm him down. Even alongside other Brazilians, the comedian was still quite altered after the situation in the published video.
The comedian was detained by agents around the 974 stadium, when he was on his way to watch another match of the Selection for the World Cup. Local authorities have yet to comment on the incident.
