WhatsApp is bringing another novelty to the beta version of the application. A new update adds a feature that will display status updates of users in the messenger chat list.
According to information from WABetaInfo, the new tool is compatible with the desktop/web beta version 2.2246.6 of WhatsApp. The resource, according to the portal, is being released gradually by the company and some users of the iOS 188.8.131.52 version are already able to access the novelty.
In the image below, you can check if the feature is already enabled for your WhatsApp account, just by checking a user’s profile picture in the conversation list. If the feature is not yet available, just keep the web version up to date and the feature will arrive later.
The new feature has only been released to some WhatsApp users, but it should be rolled out to others in the coming days. For now, there is no estimated arrival date for the general public.
