Xiaomi postponed the official launch of the Xiaomi 13 line and this ended up making many fans of the brand even more anxious for the arrival of smartphones, especially in China.
Because of this, many people have been booking the Xiaomi 13 or 13 Pro by paying an advance deposit to retailers such as Xiaomi Mall, Tmall and JD.com. However, unlike what happened in the past generation, the value to “hold” a unit of new devices is much more expensive.
According to reports from several users of the social network Weibo, have local retailer charging 999 yuan (~R$754) from those who want to book a Xiaomi 13 Pro. Other stores also charge similar prices and this has angered some consumers.
In addition to the above-average values, Xiaomi has not yet released the official price of the Xiaomi 13 line and this further increases the anxiety of some fans of the brand.
Previously released rumors indicate that Xiaomi should raise prices for the Xiaomi 13 family, since the global inflation scenario has also affected its production chain.
For now, Xiaomi has not commented on the matter.
The Xiaomi 13 line should hit the market with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, OLED screen up to 120 Hz, main camera of 50 MP (with OIS), battery of up to 5,000 mAh with fast charging of 120W, in addition to native Android 13 with MIUI 14.
It is worth remembering that this delay by Xiaomi could make vivo receive the title of the first manufacturer in the world to use the latest Qualcomm chipset.
