After Brazil’s thrashing of South Korea, which qualified the team for the quarterfinals of the World Cup, striker Richarlison decided to use his social networks to console Heung-Min Son, captain of the Korean team and his teammate in the Tottenham.
In a post made on Twitter, Richarlison used a photo of the two on the field and wrote: “I know how hard you fought to be here and that’s why you are a hero to your people.”

The Brazilian striker was responsible for Brazil’s third goal in the match, in addition to scoring his third in the Qatar Cup. With the goal, he occupies the vice-leadership of the World Cup scorers, behind Kylian Mbappé, with five, and tied with seven other athletes, including Lionel Messi.
South Korea reached a knockout stage for only the third time since 1954, when they took part in the championship for the first time. On the other hand, Brazil enters the field this Friday (9/12), at 12h, against Croatia, to stamp a place in the semifinal.
