“Sport Club Corinthians Paulista informs that assistant Rodrigo Santana will not be part of the professional football technical commission for the 2023 season. post on your official account at Twitter.
Last Monday, Corinthians announced the arrival of assistants Thiago Larghi and Rodrigo Santana, in addition to physical trainer Flávio de Oliveira.
After the announcement of the new names of the technical commission, fans were divided on social networks after discovering the presence of the assistant in demonstrations that called for military intervention. Pressure from the fans comes from those who consider Rodrigo Santana’s attitude as incompatible with the club’s history.
Another point for fans to reject the hiring of the assistant is his connection with fake news. Anyone who requests to accompany Rodrigo Santana on the Instagram you will be alerted that the account “repeatedly posted false information that was reviewed by independent fact checkers”.
Now the Corinthians board will look for another name to work with the new coach in the 2023 season.
