Poll: Did you miss the Galaxy Note line this year?

Samsung skipped the Galaxy Note series last year, opting to bring S Pen support to the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3. The same situation occurred in 2022, when the Korean brand skipped the Galaxy Note lineup again in favor of bringing the technology for your existing high-end devices.

On the one hand, we could see why people might be a little disappointed about the lack of a Note series this year. It’s particularly disappointing if you want a cheaper S Pen flagship, with the standard Galaxy Note 20 launching at $999. The S22 Ultra, meanwhile, starts at $1,200, while the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will set you back $1,800. The Note 20 Ultra also supports a microSD card, which is not available on the S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Then again, the Galaxy S22 Ultra in particular looks like a modern Galaxy Note Ultra in all but name. The phone is equipped with an S Pen slot much like the Note lineup. You’re also getting supercharged specs here in line with the Note series, like a powerful SoC, QHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, and versatile cameras.
