Focused on keeping its smartphones up to date, Samsung has just released a new version of the system for the Galaxy A22 and Galaxy 23 (LTE/5G) devices. This is the expected Android 13 update under the One UI 5.0 interface, which brings several new features to the company’s entry-level devices.
For those who don’t remember, the Galaxy A22 hit the market in 2021 with Android 11 under the One UI 3.1 interface. It later received Android 12 under the One UI 4.0 interface. And now, the current update changelog with firmware number A225FXXU3CVK3 arrives along with the October 2022 security patch.
As for the A23 4G and A23 5G, Samsung has started to ship the firmware A235FXXU1BVK8 and A236BXXU2BVK7 respectively. It is currently available for users in Russia and Germany. On the other hand, the A22 update initially arrives for users in European countries.
As usual, Samsung is releasing the new software version gradually. Therefore, it may take some time for it to arrive for all users.
To check if your device is ready for a new version of Android, just follow a few steps. First, go to your device settings and look for “Software Update”. Then find the option “Download and install” and wait until the system looks for a new version.
