Eternal South American rivals, Brazil and Argentina, decide their future at the World Cup in Qatar this Friday (9)
After a two-day break, the World Cup in Qatar is back this Friday (9), and the eternal South American rivals Brazil and Argentina will be on the field in search of the dreamed qualification to the semifinals.
The Brazilian team faces Croatia, current world runner-up, at 12h, at Estádio da Educação. Striker Messi’s Argentina takes on Holland at 4 pm at Lusail Stadium. The games will be broadcast on TV Globo.
On Saturday, the 10th, Portugal and Morocco will open the quarterfinal round at the weekend. The game takes place at 12:00, at the Al Thumama Stadium. At 4 pm, France, the last world champion, and England will face off against the titans, in search of the last place in the semifinal.

Semifinals match dates
With the results of the games defined, four ranked teams play the semi-final of the World Cup. The matches take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 13th and 14th of December, both at 4 pm, Brasilia time.
The first duel came out of the matches of Brazil and Croatia and Argentina and Holland, at Lusail Stadium, which has even been chosen as the stage for the grand final of the competition that takes place on December 18, at 12:00 (Brasília time).
The second game of the semi will be formed by the teams that win the duels between England or France and Portugal and Morocco, at the Al Bayt Stadium, venue that hosted the opening ceremony of the World Cup on November 20th.
