World tournament returns from this Friday with quarterfinal matches

The first day without games world Cup in Qatar was marked by apprehension. A tornado, formed by black clouds and strong winds, hit the cities of Ras Laffan, located 80 kilometers from Doha, host of the tournament, and Al-Huwailah.
The phenomenon of nature was recorded by locals, and the country’s own Meteorological Department shared what happened on social networks. According to the British newspaper “The Mirror”, the authorities in the region asked people who are in the vicinity of the event to be careful.
Tornadoes are not common in the Arab country. However, the territory suffers a lot from torrential rains, which are characterized by the great intensity of water in a short time. Check out the captured images below:
With no postponement forecast, the World Cup games return this Friday (9). The Brazilian National Team opens the day with the confrontation against Croatia, for the quarterfinals of the event, at 12:00, at the Estádio da Cidade da Educação. Afterwards, Argentina and the Netherlands will decide on another place for the semifinals of the tournament, at 4 pm, at Estádio Lusail.
