Women’s Champions League top scorers: Pajor ahead of Malard, Geyse, Bonmatí, Lacasse and Kerr

Wolfsburg striker Ewa Pajor tops the UEFA Women’s Champions top scorers list with six goals in four games.

On Wednesday, Lyon striker Melvine Malard scored twice with a header against Zürich, equaling Pajor’s record with four goals and taking the lead in the list of top scorers for having more assists. However, Pajor scored twice in Wolfsburg’s victory over Roma and now tops the group stage’s top scorers table in an attempt to succeed Tabea Wassmuth, top scorer in the opening group stage last season.

Cloé Lacasse, from Benfica, who also reached four goals in this fourth round, already brought two more from the qualification phase, so with six goals in the whole season, he equaled Pajor and Fenna Kalma, from the already eliminated Twente, at the top from the list of top scorers in the competition since the beginning of this edition of the competition.

We look at the dispute over the successor to the injured Alexia Putellas as top scorer, and there is also a duel to see if anyone can beat Tabea Wassmuth’s mark in the group stage of the inaugural edition, in 2021/22, in which he scored eight goals.
