Marquinhos’ wife reveals rituals on the day of the Selection game: “For everything to work out”

Carol Cabrino, wife of Brazilian national team defender Marquinhos, told on social media that she has rituals on matchdays in Brazil to bring luck during the match.

“You know that on game days I have my ritual,” he said in his stories on Instagram🇧🇷 “I put on my lucky charm, I wear my official shirt, which is my husband’s shirt, worn and sweaty by him, but obviously washed”, she revealed.

The amulet used by Carol is a reliquary that brings pictures of her with Marquinhos and the couple with their three children, who are between 8 months and 5 years old. The jewel is also embellished with soccer balls and a golden star.

Brazil takes the field again this Friday, the 9th, at 12h (Brasília time), for the quarterfinals of the World Cup. The match against Croatia takes place at the Education City Stadium.
