The Game Awards 2022: see everything that happened at the event

O The Game Awards it happened on the night of this Thursday (8) and moved bombastic announcements that give a glimpse of what is on the way to shitty games in the coming years.

In addition to games that already had a confirmed presence, such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Tekken 8the event was the stage for many surprises and confirmations of old rumors, including Death Stranding 2🇧🇷 hades 2 and Armored Core 6, by FromSoftware. Dead Cells and Castlevania

Motion Twin has revealed a new DLC for Dead Cells which takes the action to Dracula’s Castle, from castlevania🇧🇷 The content, which is scheduled for 2023, brings the characters Richter Belmont and Alucard, in addition to several iconic weapons from the Konami franchise.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd

Developed by Upstream Arcade, Hellboy Web of Wyrd is a new roguelite inspired by the comic book character and coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch, still without a release date.

hades 2

One of the big surprises of the night was hades 2sequel to the highly successful Supergiant Games game that competed for the Game of the Year award in 2020. The game features a new protagonist, the Princess of the Underworld, and arrives first on PC in Early Access in 2023.


New game from the creators of BioShock, Judas was unveiled at The Game Awards and featured many similarities to the former 2K Games series, including first-person perspective and combat with supernatural powers. The game is in development for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

street fighter 6

Confirming rumours, street fighter 6 had its launch confirmed for June 2, 2023 and pre-order is now available with prices starting at R$ 249.00. Fighters Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa and JP also got their first gameplay footage.

Suicide squad

The game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguea got a new trailer after a few months without news. The game confirmed the presence of Batman, with posthumous dubbing by Kevin Conroy, but follows a set release date.

The Last of Us Part I

Originally released in September, The Last of Us Part I now has a set date to arrive on PC, via Steam: March 3rd, 2023. In the same package, Returnal also had a port announced after months of rumors.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have revealed the first gameplay footage of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which brings visuals and animations far superior to its predecessor. The game arrives on March 17, 2023 with versions for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Death Stranding 2

Kojima Productions has finally officially confirmed the development of Death Stranding 2sequel to the irreverent title of 2019. Still with a tentative title, the game is in production for PlayStation 5 and once again features Norman Reedus, Troy Baker and Léa Seydoux in the cast – in addition to actress Elle Fanning.


Co-op survival game by Inflexion Games, nightingale got a new gameplay trailer that shows a little more of its mechanics and Victorian setting. The game follows without an announced release date and arrives on PC.

Bayonetta Origins

Another surprise from The Game Awards was Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, which delves into the protagonist’s childhood in a new action game with an isometric view and puzzle solving. The release takes place on March 17, 2023, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

Tekken 8

No release date yet, Tekken 8 won a story trailer with incredible graphics and confirmed the characters Paul, King, Jack-8, Lars and Jun Kazama in the cast of the game. The game will feature versions for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Blue Protocol

Action MMORPG by Bandai Namco, Blue Protocol rose from the ashes and will be published by Amazon Games in 2023, with versions for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Horizon Forbidden West

The much-speculated expansion of Horizon Forbidden West called Burning Shores and had its announcement trailer featured during The Game Awards. Additionally, the content will be available as early as April 19, 2023.

diablo 4

Also confirming leaks, diablo 4 had its release date confirmed for June 6, 2023. In addition, pre-orders are now available and the game won an incredible cinematic trailer.


Developed by Dont Nod, from Life is Strange🇧🇷 Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a new action RPG coming in late 2023.

Crash Team Rumble

After giving clues on social networks, Activision announced a new game of Crash Bandicoot at The Game Awards. However, it is an arena fighting game, with matches between teams, called Crash Team Rumble🇧🇷 It launches in 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.

One of the most anticipated games of 2023, final fantasy 16 won a new trailer that brought new gameplay footage and confirmed the launch for June 22, 2023, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
