After helping the Avengers defeat Thanos (Josh Brolin), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is looking for peace. His plans are interrupted when Gorr, the Butcher of the Gods (Christian Bale), threatens to eliminate all divine beings in search of revenge. The biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann follows decades of the artist’s life, which is lived by Austin Butler. The plot depicts his rise to fame, the singer’s relationship with his controlling manager “Colonel” Tom Parker (Tom Hanks) and Elvis’ loss of innocence over the years as a singer.
