The Brazilian paid one of the most touching tributes to Pelé, who receives special affection from the Premier League
Midfielder Bruno Guimarães paid a beautiful tribute to Pelé, this Saturday (31). He entered the field newcastle with the shirt number 10 of the Brazilian selection of the King of Football.
In addition to having the same number that the former player consecrated with the world titles in 1958, 1962 and 1970, the shirt had Pelé’s name and an autograph from him.
All matches from Premier League are having a minute of silence or applause for the King of Football, who died last Thursday (29), in São Paulo.
A little earlier, Manchester United’s Antony also paid a special tribute. Below the Red Devils jersey he had another one, with the message “Rest in peace, Pelé”.
Pelé was 82 years old and had been treating colon cancer since September last year. In January, the disease worsened and left the former Santos and New York Cosmos player very weak. On November 29, he was hospitalized again and ended up not resisting.
