The premium cell phone Galaxy S23 Ultra, from Samsung, should gain significant improvements in video recording and in portrait mode, at least that is what the rumors brought by the recognized leaker Ice Universe, last Monday (23), in his account oficial on the Weibo social network. According to him, the new cell phone should be able to record in 4K with up to 30 frames per second (fps), unlike the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which did not go beyond Full HD quality with 30 fps.
In addition to advances in video capture, the Galaxy S23 Ultra may have an even more efficient portrait mode, according to Ice Universe’s report. With the change, the cell phone would be able to better separate the foreground and give even more blur to the background of the image, although it is not clear how this will be done technically.

The informant disclosed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra may bring an improved heat dissipation system, which could boost the overall performance of the device. However, it is worth mentioning that it is still not possible to know if all these new features will be restricted to the most expensive version of the device or if it will also reach the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus.
Other rumors, aired over the last few weeks, indicate that the three cell phones in the line should bring the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, LPDDR5X standard RAM memory, in addition to advanced storage in the UFS 4.0 format. The first two devices are expected to have up to 8GB of RAM, while the Ultra version can come with 8 or 12GB. In addition, the manufacturer must double the internal space compared to the previous generation.
Another aspect surrounded by great expectations on the part of the foreign press is the arrival of the new ISOCELL HP2 sensor, which has 200 megapixels and should equip the Galaxy S23 Ultra as its main camera. According to what the Wccftech website published at the time, this sensor can record 8K videos at up to 30 fps, which contradicts the rumor brought by Ice Universe, above.
