According to the Catalan vehicle, Barça welcomes the signing of the player and would be willing to pay between 35 and 40 million euros (R$ 220 million at current prices) to take the 17-year-old striker to Camp Nou.
The presence of Deco and the player’s manager, André Cury – who has already worked at Barcelona -, could be crucial in getting Roque to Catalonia. The young man’s staff sees Barça’s project as the best destination for the Brazilian, who is also of interest to Chelsea, PSG and West Ham.
In financial difficulty, Barcelona would also need Athletico to accept payment in three or four installments to seal the deal.
Vitor Roque stood out last season, when he was one of the main names of Hurricane in the campaign that took the team to runner-up in the Libertadores of America. The striker has 36 games played for the club from Paraná, seven goals and three assists.
