Last Tuesday (24) the Tricolor winger Rafinha was on the Flow sport Club program and gave some information about his future in São Paulo.
In addition to praising the club’s history and telling about his childhood as São Paulino, he also remembered how he came to his heart’s team in 2021.
“I really wanted to make this dream come true (of playing for São Paulo), but I never had the opportunity. They had much better situations financially (when there was a proposal in 2021), but it is São Paulo.” Rafinha said.
But the highlight was the moment when he revealed that this will probably be his last year at the club. Against all expectations Rafinha said that he has proposals to end his career in Germany, probably at Bayern Munich, a club that was multiple champions and made history.
In the side’s career schedule, he expects to play this year (2023) in São Paulo and end his career with a title.
“It’s my biggest dream, that’s all that’s missing, to be champion for São Paulo to close my career with a golden key” .
And then, next season, he will do his “last dance” as an athlete in German football.
Look:
Despite returning to Europe, Rafinha has been studying to become a coach when he ended his career. The athlete already has some CBF licenses made in recent years that qualify him to train youth teams in Brazil.
In my view this will happen soon. São Paulo is opening the doors for its idols to qualify in a coaching career. It’s been like this with Belletti in the sub-20 and how it was with Alex. Rafinha is already a Ceni “trainee” this year, and has learned a lot from coach and idol São Paulino in these last two seasons.
Greetings Tricolors!
