It is a function that answers each question posed by the user as a famous person would.
The Bing chatbot hides among its codes a celebrity mode that offers fans to fulfill the dream of “talking” with celebrities. Rather, the AI responds to the questions posed by the user as a famous person would, whoever they choose
How to simulate conversations with celebrities
The Bing tool with AI has several modes, although the default is the search mode. However, thanks to a command that few know, headed by the hash symbol (#) it is possible to activate the selection of the chat mode and choose between three different options: Sydney, Assistant or Friend.
For now these three modes are experimental in nature and a fourth option has been added to them: the celebrity mode. In this, the Bing platform gets into the skin of “celebrities” and develops responses similar to what a famous person chosen by the user would supposedly respond to, according to Bleeping Computer.
In this way, the tool answers questions about the life of the famous person in question, about his career and about his hobbies. In addition, their answers are covered at all times with the tone that the “celebrity” chosen by the user will use in real life.
limitations
Fortunately, Bing’s celebrity mode does not allow you to imitate politicians in principle (although there are exceptions to the rule). Although Bing is quite skilled in the art of impersonating celebrities, for now the catalog of celebrities whose conversations he is able to imitate is quite limited (although he is willing to keep expanding the list).
Some of the celebrations that Bing is capable of impersonating are Elon Musk, Tom Cruise, Taylor Swift, Tom Hanks, Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama or Lebron James. However, Bing is so versatile that he can also take on the personality of fictional characters such as Harry Potter, Batman, Darth Vader, Sherlock Holmes, Yoda, Gandalf or Gollum.
