Cardi B. he is fulfilling the community service that a judge imposed on him last year. An experience that he described as “the best thing that has ever happened to him” and called it “almost like a spiritual journey” in a letter that he posted on Twitter.
Last year, the “I Like It” singer pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors related to a strip club fight which took place in 2018. On these charges, the judge ordered him to perform mandatory 15-day community service. A sentence that the artist is serving, who daily shares on Twitter the outfits with which she attends.
However, this weekend he took a moment to reflect on this experience that he is living.
“Community service is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears. Those people we left behind just need someone to talk to, and a little push and you could change their life for always,” the 30-year-old artist, who has been serving churches, schools and other organizations in New York City, wrote in a tweet.
Although the rapper hasn’t shared photos or videos of her time doing community service, the New York Police Academy posted a video of Cardi B chatting with a group of young women.
What the rapper is publishing daily are photos of her before going to the service, showing her outfits. For her days in community service, Cardi B does not neglect her style when it comes to dressing, wearing heels and luxury accessories such as Chanel bags, which is being highly commented on social networks.
