Coldplay and Twice Release ‘We Pray’… Korean Lyrics Included

According to the record company Warner Music Korea, on the 18th, Coldplay officially released a version of ‘We Pray’ with Twice singing some of the lyrics in Korean.

‘We Pray’ is a track from Coldplay’s latest album ‘Moon Music’, and the original song featured British rapper Little Sims and singer-songwriter Eliana.

Coldplay’s concert in Korea is attracting attention for various reasons, including their collaboration with Twice and their efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Live Nation Korea, a concert production company, is banning single-use plastics inside concert halls and recommending the use of reusable water bottles to minimize resource waste.

Attempts to independently produce the electricity needed for the performance also attracted attention. The concert hall was equipped with a ‘kinetic floor’ that generates electricity every time fans stomp or jump, and a ‘power bike’ that generates energy by pedaling a bicycle.

The LED light-emitting bands worn by audience members during the performance are collected on their own after the performance. On the 16th, the ranking of cities with the highest wristband collection rate was continuously displayed on the electronic board at the performance venue to encourage audience members to return their wristbands.

Domestic fans responded positively on social networking services (SNS) such as X (formerly Twitter), leaving comments such as, “Let’s achieve a 100% wristband return rate” and “It would be good to let the audience around you know so they can return the bands.”

Coldplay’s concert in Korea, which will be held six times in total, will continue until the 25th.
