Actress Elizabeth Olsenbest known for her role as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the MCU, it was revealed that she is ready to leave her role in Marvel.
In an interview with The London Timesthe translator expressed a desire to step aside to experiment and vary with other types of characters.
“For the last four years I’ve been at Marvel,” Olsen said, adding that while she’s proud of her role and doesn’t mind being associated with it, “I feel like I need to rebuild other parts to keep the balance.”
Regarding this, the actress said that she “really wants to make films right now and I hope they turn out to be what I believe they can be.”
“But yes, this is what I need. I need other characters in my life. There is no longevity in character,” said the 34-year-old translator.
Similarly, Elizabeth has stated that she does not know when the “scarlet witch” will return to the superhero franchise.
Olsen, who starred in the HBO series Love and Death. first played Wanda in the post-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. (2014), later appearing in films such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and his own series, WandaVision.
