l28 year old supermodel, Gigi Hadidwas arrested for marijuana possession during vacation in Cayman islands Earlier this month, according to a report published by New York Post.
Hadid and girlfriend detained after customs officers allegedly discovered “cannabis and the utensils used for its consumption” in his luggage on July 10, local media reported. Cayman Marl Road.
Hadid and her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy were arrested on suspicion of importing hemp and importation of utensils used for the consumption of cannabis.
Two were taken to Detention Center and then released on bail.
Hadid and McCarthy appeared in summary judgment on July 12.where they were formally charged.
Both pleaded guilty and were fined $1,000 each, with no convictions to date.
