The exfutbolista of the Barcelona, Gerard Piqué, has once again granted an interview to ‘El País’. The athlete once again spoke to the press about all the current issues involving the Laporta club and about his separation from Shakira.
The journalist was interested in knowing: “How has your media separation from Shakira affected you?“. Gerard Piqué answered him very bluntly: “I’m not going to comment, I don’t feel like it. Everyone has their responsibility to try to do what’s best for their children.”

The journalist from ‘El País’ insisted on his question: “They are not deaf…”. “It’s about protecting them. That is the job of all parents with children. That’s what I’m focused on and that’s my job as a father,” replied Piqué.

“And how is he as a person? It seemed that all things had always gone well for him”, asked the editor of ‘El País’. “It is not like that. The problem is how people perceive it or how the press sells it. I keep doing what I want“, the athlete corrected the journalist.
