Lady Gaga He is facing a lawsuit from an accomplice in the theft of his two dogs in February 2021 that resulted in his dog walker being shot and seriously injured.
According to Los Angeles County Superior Court documents obtained by People, Jennifer McBride, the woman who returned Gaga’s dogs Koji and Gustav, sued the 36-year-old singer for failing to pay the $500,000 reward that you originally offered.
McBride’s attorney argued in Friday’s filing that by declaring “no questions asked” with the reward offer and not paying, Gaga committed breach of contract, false promise fraud and misrepresentation fraud.

According to the lawsuit, McBride believes that Gaga’s “no questions asked” offer was made “with the intent to defraud and induce members of the public, such as plaintiff, to trust her and honor such promise in locating and delivering the bulldogs of Lady Gaga to the defendants”.
McBride, who was one of five arrested for the crime in April 2021, was dating fellow accomplice Harold White at the time, Jaylin White’s father. Jaylin was involved in the robbery with James Jackson and Lafayette Whaley.
An earlier LAPD press release said the couple were “determined to be complicit after the initial crime” and were being held on suspicion of complicity after the fact in attempted murder.
After Jackson, who shot the dog walker ryan fisher, pleaded no contest to the attempted murder with grievous bodily harm, was sentenced to 21 years in prison in December. Because of his guilty plea, prosecutors dropped a few lesser charges: conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery in the second degree, assault with a semi-automatic firearm and felon carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle.

Fischer, who suffered a collapsed lung from the gunshot wound and stayed with Gaga during her recovery, said in a statement at Jackson’s sentencing that he went into debt and suffered a “loss of career, friendships, aimlessly traveling the country.” since the shooting.
