It’s safe to say that the star of stranger things is having the time of his life, enjoying some time off before production begins on season 5 of Stranger Things. And if anyone deserves to spend quality time with their friends and loved ones, it’s Millie Bobby Brown. It’s not easy growing up in the spotlight, and despite experiencing bullying from the press and so-called fans, the actress seems to be in a good place in her life and enjoying her youth.
Millie Bobby Brown made her acting debut when she was 9 years old as the young Alicia in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland from A.B.C. As everyone knows the rest is history, and Stranger Things is about to start production this year for its fifth and supposedly final season.
Stranger Things was an unexpected series on the streaming giant. Despite many pushbacks from other networks, the series carved a niche for itself at home when Netflix greenlit the Duffer Brothers. The series takes place in the 1980s in the fictional city of Hawkins, Indiana, and follow Will, Mike, Dustin, Lucas and, of course, Eleven, who is played by Millie Bobby Brown. When Will goes missing in season one, the rest of the gang bands together to get to the bottom of his disappearance, enlisting the help of Eleven, who was raised in Hawkins’ lab and has telekinetic powers.
Throughout all four seasons, the geek gang’s friendships are put to the test through interdimensional travel to Upside Down while battling demons, demogorgons, classmates, and even the local police. Fortunately, by the second season, the kids have some solidarity with some adults and authority figures in Hawkins because the officer Jim Hopper (David Harbour)) and Will’s mother, Joyce (Winona Ryder)have experienced the madness first hand.
As the series progresses, we learn that there are much larger government conspiracies at play, and many times Millie Bobby Brown’s character has to turn things up eleven to neutralize the situation with her mysterious superpowers.
For those who haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet Stranger Things, It’s not too late to start watching the series on Netflix before season 5 comes out sometime in 2024. In the meantime, it’s worth noting that Millie Bobby Brown is enjoying life in between seasons of the series, looking a la fashion, and even letting her hair grow.
