‘Beetlejuice 2’ Cinematographer Tells The Wrap About Tim Burton’s Sequel starring Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) along with original characters Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice and Lydia Dietz).
Haris Zambarloukos sheds light on the main theme of the director’s new story for movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: “At the heart of Beetlejuice 2 is the story of a family. 30 years have passed (since the release of the first part). And what are the nuances and human conditions that make it possible to keep the family together during all this time in the world, what is even crazier possible? That is why I choose projects. Human interaction is always in the foreground for me.”Explain.

In an interview with Empire last June, Keaton compared the making of Beetlejuice 2 to making the first movie in 1988.: “It’s a lot of fun, it’s great. And you know what? We do it exactly the same as in the first movie. In the great waiting room of the afterlife is a woman standing, literally with a fishing line? I want people to know this because I love to pull the cat’s tail to make it move,” says the actor.
Keaton also expressed how much he enjoyed filming 30 years later: “(Burton) and I talked about it years ago without telling anyone,” Keaton shares with the magazine. “We both agreed that if this really happens, then it should be done as close as possible to how we did it the first time.. Invent something, bring it to life, improvise. But literally things are made by hand, people create things with their own hands and build something. damn great. It’s the most exciting thing I’ve ever gotten from working on a film,” says the Founder actor.
On the other hand, during the press conference for “Secrets in Venice”, the cinematographer also revealed details about the special effects they used during the filming of the film: “With Tim, we work with Neil Scanlan, his puppeteer in many films.” With this information, we can expect all kinds of embellishments and special effects in true Burton style from the new Bitelchus 2.
