The Department of Equality and Diversity of Oliva, headed by Anna Mena, continues to present the program of activities that the Department has organized on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. On this occasion, it is the concert of Pop Ladies, with Sandra Polop and Sandra Acostathis Saturday, March 4, at 8:00 p.m. at the Center Polivalent with free admission, until full capacity is reached.
This concert is the tribute of two young Valencian women who were participants in one of the editions of the Operación Triunfo program and who will cover, with their own and very personal style, hits by artists from the national music scene such as Vanesa Martín or Rozalén or also international stars. like Lady Gaga, among others. The presentation will be in charge of the Olivense journalist María José Berbegall.
In addition, the Department of Equality has prepared many more surprises for the audience, such as special lighting on the façade of the Center Polivalent and a “360° photo-call” to take home a souvenir of that day. The councilor pointed out that both Maria José Berbegall and the singers “represent a model of a woman, brave, enterprising, professional and fighter. And they are media references that help us materialize and show that female empowerment can be done in a friendly, happy and positive way”.
