Taylor Swift gave an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her latest music video Lavender Haze. The artist was not only the composer of the song, but also video director and protagonist.

This Friday, Swift shared behind-the-scenes images of the video clip on YouTube, in which she co-stars laith ashleywho played her love interest in the video.

How Taylor Swift directed the music video for Lavender Haze

In the first clip, Taylor appears breaking down the walls of a set, which is seen in one of the last scenes of the video. Then she immediately switches from actress to director, and she happily raises her arms up and yells, “Cut!”

The behind-the-scenes also shows the singer chatting with her co-star, explaining to Ashley what kinds of scenes they’ll be filming together and the special effects they’ll be adding on. post.
