Focused on her career outside of Disney with music, new projects in Hollywood, and a personal and sentimental life full of ups and downs, caused Selena to distance herself from her partners in the series, a decision she regrets.

During a participation in ‘Wizards of Waverly Pod’, the podcast created by his co-stars, Jennifer Stone and David DeLuise, he explained why he walked away from them.

“I felt ashamed of the decisions I made. I didn’t want them to see me in the state I was in, because: A) they would have told me the truth, which terrified me, and B) I didn’t want to disappoint them.“.

Both Jennifer and David were sympathetic to Selena, and did not hesitate to show her support and affection.
