‘Shazam! The Fury of the Gods’ opens in the United States and Spain on March 17 and the promotional campaign to bring people to movie theaters is in full swing, perhaps too much. During one of WWE’s commercial breaks this Friday, a new ad for the movie aired that included a surprising spoiler: Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman cameo.

Rumors of this possible appearance have been going around the internet for months, but with all the fuss that is going on at DC, it was speculated that, as happened in the first installment, the character would be embodied by a double. And no, there’s Gadot in his suit in all its glory. The scene in question shows us a Diana Prince congratulating Billy Batson/Shazam! (Zachary Levi) for a job well done. You can see it in the tweet above, where a user recorded the announcement from his house, since neither Warner Bros. nor DC have posted it (at least for now) on any of their profiles.

‘Shazam! The Fury of the Gods’ continues the story of teenage Billy Batson, that on this occasion he faces together with his adoptive brothers against the daughters of Atlas, who believe they have stolen their father’s powers and now want to destroy the world.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, the film stars Zachary Levi and Asher Angel, Jack Grazer and Adam Brody, Rachel Zegler, Ross Butler and Ian Chen, Meagan Good and Darla Dudley, Lucy Liu, Helen Mirren and Grace Caroline Currey. We will also see Rizwan Manji, Djimon Hounsou and of course Gadot.
The manager’s reaction
Sandberg, director of the film, has chosen Twitter to warn his followers that if they want to go to the movies without spoilers, it is better that they avoid any advertisement or trailer that they can see on TV or the internet.
Well there’s some big Shazam spoilers out there now. If you want to go in fresh maybe don’t be online or watch tv with ads… Pretty good advice in general actually.

“Well, there are some big Shazam spoilers out there. If you want to get there without surprises, maybe you’re not on the internet or watching TV with ads… It’s actually good advice in general.” Of course, the same promotional strategy is not so badly thought out, because some responses to that Tweet ensure that, although the revelation caught them by surprise, they have only increased their desire to go to the movies on March 17.
In addition, it may not be the last time we see Gadot in the shoes of his superheroine this year, because, if they have not been definitively eliminated, It seems that Wonder Woman would also have a brief appearance in ‘Flash’, which FINALLY hits theaters on June 16th.
