Sony Releases First 14 Minutes Of ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ At CinemaCon 2023

Among Sony’s big announcements at CinemaCon 2023, a scene from ‘Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse’ was screened tonight in which they revealed important information about the plot of the highly anticipated animated film. Here all the details.

CinemaCon 2023 kicked off today and that means big announcements and trailers for long-awaited movies like Barbie, wonka and oppenheimer they will be released soon, but we will not only hear from Warner Bros., but also from Walt Disney Studios, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures and Sony Pictures. After a significant delay in the event, the Sony panel has already started and they have shared some interesting news.

After starting with the new Craig Gillespie film titled DUMB MONEY with Paul Dano in the leading role, the production house followed with the announcement of The Night of the Demon: The Red Door being called the most successful installment of the franchise, at least that’s what Josh Greenstein, one of the studio executives, said. But the big announcement was that they were going to show the first 14 minutes of no less than Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has generated immense excitement among Spidey fans and lovers of comics and superhero movies, as the first installment was a film production that took animation to another level and featured an incredible storytaking the Oscar for Best Animated Film in 2019.

Now the film will pick up the narrative a year after the events at the end of the first film, and within the small preview that was shown to CinemaCon attendees they were able to see Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) swing between the buildings with Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) while both argue about the people who have the same powers, who are referred to as Spider-People, and how they have battled for a month to stop the collapse of the many universes.

According to viewer information, Miles still has a huge crush on Gwen and she dismisses his obsession with her in a very embarrassing way. The media reports that the projected scene had a rather romantic undertone and focused on the relationship between the protagonists., as well as introducing Miles’s family comforting him after his encounter with Spider-Gwen. There is little left to see it with our own eyes, as the film arrives on June 1 in theaters in Mexico.
