“It was Woody Allen who offered it to me, so I said yes. And very quickly, I realized that he couldn’t do that. My son Joe was only 9 weeks old. He would have had to stop breastfeeding. It would have been too much commitment to the rhythm of my life and my new baby. I just couldn’t do it. I told him, ‘I’m so sorry, it wasn’t the right decision.’ I knew there was a big chance that it could be my only try,” he explained.
