Washington, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) The star of the film The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey, is part of the most recent group of figures called to present the Oscars on March 12.
Bailey will take the stage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood in the 95th edition of these awards along with artists Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield, the Academy announced.
Confirmed star presenters this year include Antonio Banderas, Rihanna, Elizabeth Banks, Jessica Chastain, John Cho, Hugh Grant, Danai Gurira, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman and Sigourney Weaver.
The Oscars will also host the artists Lenny Kravitz, Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Troy Kotsur, Jonathan Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Janelle Monáe, Deepika Padukone, Questlove, Zoe Saldana and Donnie Yen.
The Academy will announce more presenters before the day of delivery of the main film awards granted annually in the world.
Comedian Jimmy Kimmel will host the ceremony for the third time.
Like every year, the list of presenters is a mix of past Oscar winners, emerging talents and others associated with nominees on the issue.
