Mary Elizabeth Kelly has gone viral on TikTok multiple times in the past two years thanks to her amazing impersonations of actors, singers, and celebrities. The special thing about her is that she imitates her by copying the position of her mouth, her lips and how she places her teeth when speaking.
She calls it mouth acting and it involves contorting her face, particularly her mouth, in the way that she imitates famous actors. Along with changing her voice, she makes Kelly’s impressions particularly memorable.

“I’m a huge moviegoer and TV viewer and I always try to incorporate the mouth movements and idiosyncrasies of the actors for my training and for fun. I love to imitate them and do accents and things like that, so I thought it would be fun to show all the performers! who act with their mouths!”, he explained about his surprising success in an interview in 2021.
“Once it became a trend, I was overwhelmed and so grateful that people liked it and that I was able to help cheer them up in these tumultuous times. I’m very lucky to have had a few auditions and some work during the pandemic, but the castings and hiring, especially in Los Angeles, have slowed down tremendously,” he said about the employment situation during the pandemic.
