Independent animation studio ZAG, together with its licensing partners Novabrink and Xalingo, will present the first Ghostforce toy products at the upcoming ABRIN Expo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the largest toy industry event in all of Latin America.
ZAG is known for its worldwide mega-hit Miraculous: The Adventures of Ladybug and Ghostforce. The company is producing Melody, an animated film starring singer-songwriter and actress Katy Perry.
Ghostforce is an original comedy/action series for kids and families that follows three high school students who form a secret team to defend their town from the horrifying demons that haunt it. The series premiered in Latin America on Discovery Kids on December 6, 2021, except in Brazil, where it premiered on May 6, 2022, with fantastic ratings. Also, Ghostforce will soon be available on terrestrial television in Brazil.
At ABRIN, Novabrink, ZAG’s strategic partner in the region, will present 18-inch costumed figures of Ghostforce’s heroes and villains. Novabrink is also the licensee of the brand’s costumes. In addition, Xalingo, one of the leading developers of products and toys that contribute to the social and intellectual development of children, will present its line of Ghostforce-branded products made of wood, which includes board games, puzzles, activity games, activities coloring, memory games and dominoes. The products will be launched in Brazil on Halloween 2023.
The new product lines will complement the toys that will be released in 2024 by Playmates Toys, a leading global toy partner, which will include figures of the main heroes and a collection of boo capsules that will play with the ghost community.

On the global market, Ghostforce has been launched in most European countries, becoming the market leader in various groups of children, with unique emissions reaching up to a 40.9% share among all children aged 3-14. and 51.2% among children between 6 and 9 years of age. In France, where the series premiered on TF1 in August 2021, Ghostforce achieved an audience share of over 35%. In the United States, Ghostforce airs on Disney XD.
