What to see this weekend on Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Filmin, Atresmedia, Movistar +, Disney +, Apple TV and Skyshowtime?

If you are one of those people who wants take advantage of the weekend to dedicate it to watching series and movies, do not move. Here are some recommendations of what to watch and what streaming platforms they are on so you can enjoy them alone or with whoever you want.

Everybody loves Daisy Jones

This series has 10 chapters. Is based on the novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, who is also a producer along with actress Reese Witherspoon, shows the life of a band that started in the late 70’s ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’. Led by Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne, the group rose to fame suddenly but after a series of discrepancies the band ended up dissolving. Decades later, its members explain the reason for their separation. Among its protagonists are actors Riley Keough and Sam Claflin.

Thriller series with six episodes starring César Vincent Cassel and Eva Green. is the first original Apple series in French and English. The plot focuses on exploring how mistakes made in the past have the power to destroy the future. In it, action is combined with an unpredictable plot, as well as espionage and political intrigue that are intertwined with a love story.



This series is inspired by the life of Ignacio Jordá González, better known as Nacho Vidal. In it he will be known as the actor he got the fame in adult cinema and ins and outs that the pornographic film industry hides. It will premiere on Sunday, March 5 and has a well-known cast: Martiño Rivas, Andrés Velencoso and Pepa Charro, among others.

If you like research, here is the perfect series. Hilary Swank stars as Eileen, a New York journalist who moves to Alaska, Anchorage to be exact, in order to start a new life. Filmin has this 2021 film on its billboard. American singer St. Vincent (Anne Erin “Annie” Clark) sets out to make a documentary about her music, but when she hires a close friend to direct it, notions of reality, identity, and authenticity they will become more and more distorted and strange. In addition to having St. Vincent, Dakota Johnson participates in this film among many other actors.

If you remember that movie from the mid-90s with this same title, you just found the remake. Like its original, this new installment centers on two friends looking to throw a party to earn some money. Unlike the original, the party will take place at the home of an NBA superstar, LeBron James.

Documentary of the well-known Irish singer from the 90s. It shows her fight for social causes such as feminism and justice. Causes that led her to the maximum decline of her career. This work shows a trip in time where it will allow the public to know the bad treatment that she received from the music industry.


In the name of God: sacred betrayal

This docuseries consists of eight chapters on four alleged South Korean prophets who used religion to deceive their disciples and carry out all kinds of abuses and violations.



This new streaming platform brings us the biopic of the artist Miguel Bosé. In it, each chapter has the title of some of his songs showing the most personal side of the artist.
