Xóchitl Gómez talks about what she would like to see in the future of América Chávez

The actress Xóchitl Gómez rose to fame after passing through Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness with the character of América Chávez. Now, the Californian actress wants to explore what the future of her superheroine will be like in the MCU, in which perhaps she should be part of a new group of heroes who fight against Kang the Conqueror. “I would like to see a very powerful America. In Doctor Strange (in the multiverse of madness) she didn’t know what she was doing, she was scared and she didn’t know how to use her powers. Hopefully, she has some training under her belt. I would like to see a little safer America.”

In The multiverse of madness it is revealed that America is the only person in the Marvel Universe capable of travel between different dimensions and timelines. Powers that make her the primary objective of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), who begins to explore her personality as Scarlet Witch with the aim of stealing the young woman’s powers and thus being able to raise her children in peace. Gómez already pointed out that he learned a lot of director sam raimi during filming and that Patrick Stewart (Professor X) advised him to always be kind to the people he meets throughout his career, treating everyone with respect and wanting to work with them. While it’s unclear if America Chavez will return to fight Jonathan Majors’ Kang, fans can rest easy knowing that the actress is burning to return to the role.
